Description
MC. 1890 - One of the rarest Chinese enameled silver sculptures portraying a horse drawn carriage with two female passengers. The women have articulately carved bone faces and delicate hands with elaborate hand painted details. All the silver parts are hand crafted by master silversmith and decorated with beautiful cloisonne enamel work. Please note that the umbrella has precision attached hanging jade beads. In addition the sterling silver is decorated with polychrome enamel and gleaming precious stones which include; turquoise, carnelian, lapis lazuli, jade, pearls and coral. The silver and enamel work is intricately detailed and the addition of precious stone only adds to the complexity of this museum quality piece of art.
