Anatole Krasnyansky (Ukrainian, b. 1930) paints two distinct subjects. The first are surrealist figures depicted in multi-colored shapes. The second is the architecture of European cities. From 1975 to 1982 Anatole Krasnyansky worked for companies such as Universal Studios, ABC, CBS. His name can be found in the credits of big productions such as The Blue's Brothers, General Hospital, Battlestar Galactica, and Gilligans Island. Krasnyansky has had solo exhibitions in New York, Boston, New Orleans, Atlantic City, San Francisco, Beverly Hills, San Diego, and Tokyo. *Note on Krasnyansky's Multi-faced figures: Multiple-faced figures are prominent in Krasnyansky's work. When asked about them, the artist replied “We all have many faces. It depends where we are and who we are with, but in each case, we adapt, putting on a mask.
