Earl American Iron Handcuffs of Black Jack Ketchum. This pair of iron handcuffs was used to retain the outlaw "Black Jack Ketchum" when he was arrested and then later hanged in Clayton, New Mexico on April 26th, 1901. Formerly from the William O. Sweet Collection, first presented for sale in an early Robert Ables, NY Antique Firearms Catalog. Has key, in working condition, with letter of authentication and appraisal letter from R.L. Wilson of Hadlyme, CT.
