Two Antique Chinese Plaques; the first in pale celadon Jade well carved with a basket of peach and lingzhi, the reverse with calligraphy, a small amber bead to attachment; together with an antique translucent Jadeite plaque with a standing Guanyin pouring from a vase and standing on a lotus with an Acolyte in attendance on her right, the stone carved using a large area of russet jadeite to carve a phoenix with long tail feathers to the front and a bat over waves to the reverse. Light age related wear. Height of each 2 3/8 inches (6.1 cm.).
