This lot consists of a hand colored etching signed ''Marc Chagall'' in pencil, lower left with the roman numerals VII/XXX. Image shows a woman with her hand on her cheek and eyes turned downwards. On the right side a man and woman stand, the woman is carrying a bouquet of flowers and above them flies a white dove. Done in the Expressionist Style of Marc Chagall (French, Russian Born, 1987-1985). Very similar to Chagall’s 1966 lithograph Le Poete (The Poet). Bold, clear impression. Image measures approx. 6'' x 4'' with a sheet size of approx. 14'' x 10''.

Paper crisp and clean with minor toning small creases near the edges of the paper. The back has some discoloration, possibly moisture related, not visible from the front. The image and signature are clear and show very well.
