Original ink drawing on paper signed ''Picasso'' at bottom right, accompanied by the handwritten date ''5.12.50'' and Roman numeral ''XXVIII''. The image depicts the face of a woman superimposed over a dove in flight, with the sun and its rays emanating from behind. Minimalist Line Drawing is executed in the Abstract style of Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973). This drawing represents a common theme for Picasso know as the ''Face of Peace'' series. This is a lovely composition which was drawn on a handwritten document, perhaps a journal or piece of correspondence. The ink handwriting appears to be Italian. Handwriting mainly appears above the ''Face of Peace'' drawing, with additional notes en verso. This piece measures approximately 10.5'' x 7.75''.

Paper is toned with signs of age and distress. Various stains, discoloration and foxing thoughout piece. Bottom left staining, possibly caused by water/moisture.
