Ted Williams And Evelyn Turner Dated For Nearly 10 Years At A Time When Ted Was Married. Enclosed In The Letter From Ted, Written While In Korea Are His Inner Thoughts And Love For Evelyn. He Details Military Life, Daily Missions, Training, And Locations. One Of The Letter Details The Events Surrounding Ted Being Shot Down , Skidding Down The Runway And Escaping The Plane Moments Before It Exploded. He Describes Personal Trying Times Such As The Death Of His Father, His Feelings On The War, Other Personal Problems. This If From The Mind Of Ted Williams Away From Baseball, The Man Who Flew Fighter Jets, Fell In Love With Evelyn, Loved To Hunt And Fish. The Collection Is Being Broken Up Into Individual Letters And Items. In This Letter Ted Describes Dropping A Radar Bomb On An Area Where He Couldn't See The Ground.
