Item Details

Description

Electronically tested 925 silver ladies cast & assembled ruby and diamond necklace. Seventeen and one-half inch length necklace features a pendant consisting on an elaborate ruby and diamond set lattice attached to a flexible ruby and diamond set swag transitioning into a matching ruby and diamond ribbon, terminating in a concealed clasp with twin safeties. Bright polish finish with a rose gold overlay. Trademark is Orianne. Identified with markings of "925". Condition is new, good workmanship.

Thirty-three prong set round mixed cut natural rubies approximate total weight of 24.39ct., clarity is heavily included, type II, medium dark, very slightly brownish, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 6/3), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indications of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additives. Color grade is an average for the group. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning.

One Hundred Forty-Nine prong set round brilliant cut diamonds approximate total weight of 149 Stones = 3.01ct. Graded in the setting.
