Large Quarto (mm 350x260). Leaves [8], included the frontispiece with the equestrian statue of Peter the Great and 72 coloured plates with just as much description pages in French and English. Scattered stains, but it is a fine copy. The contemporary full vellum binding in olive green with large golden decors on the sides and on the title which has been impressed on the spine. Golden edges. Small scrapings on the squares and the corners.

Cfr. Hiler, 192; Colas, 704: «Le tirage des planches de cette seconde édition paraîtêtre aussi bon que dans la première. Il existe des exemplaires datés de 1811». La tavola 5 e la tavola 20 hanno anche la bis, pertanto il numero delle tavole è 72 e non 70 come appare al frontespizio.
