Thrasher was born in Paris, Texas in 1940. His paintings are sought by many western art collectors and are displayed in many galleries of distinction. His western and wildlife as well as his scenes of old Mexico and his landscapes are all widely known. On the back is the title "Approaching Storm", as well as artist J.W.
