**First Time At Auction**
North America, Native American, US Southwest, New Mexico, Jemez Pueblo, ca. late 20th century CE. A lovely pair of polychrome pottery pieces in avian forms. One item is a shallow dish with colorful shoulders, a periwinkle bird head, a shallow interior cavity, and a stylized 'tail' section; the underside is stamped "Jemez Pueblo Indians" in black ink. The other item is a signed standing owl with a flat base, wide winged shoulders, a broad head, and a flat, triangular beak; the underside is etched with a signature reading "Andrea Fyaqua Jemez." A wonderful duo! Size: owl measures 4.25" H (10.8 cm).

Condition
Bowl has fading and scratches to surface pigmentation, small areas of roughness, and minor chips and nicks along exterior rim. Standing owl is in excellent condition.
