Item Details

Description

This is an early 20th century mechanical sewing machine of Frister And Rossmann, manufactured in Germany. To power the sewing machine, the seamstress must keep the right wheel in a consistent motion. The body is made of cast iron and is embellished with gold floral motifs. The base is oak, complete with a lid and key to lock the lid in place. Wear is evident due to age with slight damage to the wood on the lid. . Condition: (Fair - Good). Dimensions: 12"T x 19-1/2"W x 10-1/2"D.
