Swedish Gustavian-manner silver teapot, pierced gallery with acorn finial, the body with cartouche of a fisherman and river landscape bearing monogram "A.C.P," on four ball feet, hallmarked underneath Sweden, 1799, with maker's mark of Johan Ferdinand Gronquist, possibly spurious, and second monogram "E.M.H" above inscription dated 1934. 25" H X 4.5" diameter X 9.5" L (over spout and handle). Silver tested; approx. 20.1 ozt.
