Spanning 1976 through 1986, these items comprise autograph notes (3), autograph letters (8), and a typewritten letter each variously signed "J," "JO," or "Jackie." Most pieces are 8vo on stationary with imprints including "Doubleday" and "1040 Fifth Avenue" along with a few inter-office items headed "Memorandum / Viking Penguin Inc..." Includes eight postal covers with cancellations dating from 1978 to 1985. Accompanying these items are early photocopies of Mr. Kennebeck's correspondence concerning editing jobs associated with Mrs. Onassis. A fascinating glimpse into the personal and professional life of one the United States most iconic 20th Century First Ladies.
