19th Century antique Chinese HuangHuaLi Altar Table. Finely constructed with rectangular top with everted ends surmounting an archaic dragon motif apron flanked by scalloped spandrels forming ruyi shaped pattern over the legs, bridged by framing open-work entwined archaic chilong dragons panel to each sides. Having dense hardwood and fine grain with lustrous patina, the HuangHuaLi wood displays yellowish-golden-honey patina, with translucent shimmering surface with abstractly figured patterns appearing like wheat pattern motif.
