Ming Dynasty Chinese tripod censer. Sturdily potted in a globular shaped body, gently tapered toward the shoulder, with waisted neck and flaring rim. Two curved handles broadly elevated on the collar over the rim, giving a wide presence. Raised upon three cabriole legs. Covered overall with a soft green glaze of even tone ending at the bottom of the legs to expose the pale grey ware burnt brown-orange at the unglazed foot bases.
