13 assorted items. 1st item: Sterling silver serving bowl with folded rim, maker's mark HGS Co. 400, 2" H x 10" dia., 10.56 oz troy. 2nd item: Pair Leubkuecher & Co., Newark, NJ, sterling Wish Bone sugar tongs, 4 1/4" L, 1.09 oz troy. 3rd-7th items: Vintage sterling flatware including set of 3 sterling dessert forks, 6 3/4" L, 1 Gorham Versailles pattern small teaspoon, 5 1/8" L and 1 Dominick and Haff Palm Beach souvenir spoon, 4 1/4" L, 4.76 oz troy/5. 8th-11th items: Pair coin silver Albert Coles Co., Medallion pattern, 1862 gravy ladles with gilt bowls and twist handles, 8" L and 1 coin silver ladle with gilt shell bowl and bright cut decoration, 7 3/4" L. 6.06 oz troy/3; together with 1 800 silver cocktail/souvenir fork with wild boar finial, 4 7/8" L, 0.44 oz troy. 12th item: German silverplated grape scissors, 6 5/5/8" L, c. 1900-1920. 13th item: German brass stork and turtle midwife "umbilical cord clamp" or ribbon puller/threader scissors, cast brass stork-form clamp or embroidery threader/puller, each handle mounted with a miniature turtle, the body of the stork enclosing a miniature infant in a papoose, 6 3/8" L. Total Sterling: 16.71 oz troy. Total Coin silver: 6.06 oz troy, total 800 silver: 0.44 oz troy. Provenance: Baltimore estates of Virginia Howard Miller (c. 1880-1946) and Hugh Purviance King (1873-1966) passed down to present Living Estate of Virginia Johnston, Chattanooga, TN. Condition
Bowl in very good condition with some surface wear. Not monogrammed. Most flatware with monogram and some minor surface wear. Brass umbilical cord clamp in good condition.
