Description
This is one of the most desirable and rare Grateful Dead posters ever produced. The occasion was a show by the Dead and Quicksilver Messenger Service at the Panther Hall in Fort Worth, Texas in February 1970. The artist remains unknown, but the poster is a superbly executed silkscreen using fluorescent ink. The large size and very thin paper they were printed on makes them extremely susceptible to damage. In top condition, these sell for around $3500 – this has some condition issues but should be some bidding action.
Please note that this lot has a confidential reserve. When you leave a bid in advance of the auction, submit your maximum. The bidder who has submitted the highest bid wins the lot, provided the bid exceeds the reserve price.
