Ornate Chinese carved dragon vitrine display cabinet. The heavily carved curio cabinet from the early 1900's has pierced openwork hand carving depicting dragons with scrollwork, foo dog heads ending in paw feet. The display cabinet has a mirrored back with a beveled glass door and sides and plate glass shelves. A carved dragon removable crest adorns the top of the cabinet. The cabinet is in very good condition with no damage or repairs. We are not certain as to the type of wood, but it does have the original finish. Dates front the first quarter of the 20th century and has an old paper label on the underside. Originally purchased at our auction gallery in 2003 and prior to that it was in the collection of the George Caswell estate. Measures 56 inches high, 26 inches wide and 24 inches deep.
