English 19th century William Bateman II 1828 London sterling silver 209oz tray. The sterling silver tray or waiter, has an ornate cast and chased elaborate border decorated with sea shells and florals in high relief. The center of the tray has an decorative etched floral and acanthus design. The heavy and decorative sterling serving tray has shell form, open handles. Lightly monogrammed in the center and could be buffed out if desired. Hallmarked on the reverse for London 1828 and signed W.B. for silversmith William Bateman II. In good condition. Measures 19.6 inches high x 33 inches wide. Weighs 209.6 troy ounces.
