Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd century CE. A fine example of a mold-made ceramic oil lamp with a depiction of a trireme, a Roman war galley, in its sunken discus. A loop handle and small, projecting spout complete the piece. Size: 4.3" W x 1.65" H (10.9 cm x 4.2 cm)

Small chip from near the spout, and another from the rim, but otherwise in nice condition. Motif is present and mostly clear.
