PRESSED THREE-PRINTIE TULIP VASES, PAIR, colorless, each deep hexagonal bowl with plain rim, raised on a hexagonal standard featuring a compressed knop and flared foot, wafer construction. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1840-1860. 10 3/8" H, 4 5/8" D rim, 5 3/8" DOA foot.
Undamaged except for each foot with a minor flake and normal light mold roughness.
Literature: Barlow/Kaiser - The Glass Industry in Sandwich, Vol. 3, p. 62, fig. 3034.
Provenance: Collection of Lois Dambach Forbush and Bliss Forbush Jr., ex-collection of L. Earl and Leah Dambach.
