Description
pair of attractive stone Egyptian 'Eye of Horus' amulets. One in brown serpentine with nice style and horizontal frill for suspension, (16 x 14 mm), the second in translucent carnelian, (15 x 15 mm). Ex Boston Museum of Fine Arts de-accession; previously in the collection of Horace L. Mayer who loaned and gifted items to the museum throughout the 1930's-60's. After his passing much of his remaining collection was gifted to the museum.
