Original Japanese WW2 Sword Katana from Ichiryushi Nagamitsu A real Japanese Nihonto of the famous Japanese swordsmith "Ichiryushi Nagamitsu". Nagamitsu was commissioned to forge a sword for a high Japanese officer. This sword is also made of the famous Japanese Tamahagane steel, and forged according to ancient Japanese tradition. It was made in the Okayama prison in (1943) Nagamitsu has provided the sword with his signature. His full name is "Ichiryushi Nagamitsu" and he was the best Japanese imperial commissioned swordsmith. The swords of Nagamitsu are therefore very popular and rarely happens that a sword of this caliber is offered. As you can see, the hammon is very clear and this is called Uramei (nie). The blade is beautiful and has a length of 66.4 cm (Ha-saki cutting edge) Obviously the condition of this blade is absolutely beautiful and razor sharp. Total Shirasaya total length 95.5. The curvature of the blade is called (sori) which is 1.5 cm. Fukuoka Prefecture August 1971 registration card leaf weight: 766 grams. This sword is worthy of NBTHK and guaranteed.
