Description

A Smith Brothers glass bowl/fern pot. Round shape with lobed exterior and white metal rim, decorated with a continuous oak leaf and acorn motif, in autumnal shades with gilt accents. Stamped in red underneath with the Smith Bros. trademark of a rampant lion enclosed in a shield. Circa 1885-1900. Alfred and Harry Smith were formerly employed at the Mt. Washington Glass Company, New Bedford, Massachusetts. Minor wear to the decoration. 4" high, 8 1/2" diameter. ESTIMATE $100-200
