Description

Brocot Alabaster & Porcelain Mantle Clock. 4 in. inset porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals, blued open moon hands, exposed Brocot escapement with jeweled pallets and hinged brass door bezel with beveled crystal. Round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed "A. Brocot a Paris, 1606", has a half hour strike on a bell. In a white alabaster case with filigree painted inset porcelain panel in the front. Clock strikes but is not running; case has a crack in the center of the alabaster at the shoulder and the round upper tub is loose due to a missing thread. 14.25 in. high x 8.5 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.
