Description
For your viewing is original WW2 enamel sign in really nice condition. The sign is for railway tracks, was exposed about semaphores and meant a serial number of a railway track. It was used in CONCENTRATION CAMP Buchenwald. This item has a long story: in 1945 the OST worker Ivan P. from West Ukraine was working on the railway for service Concentration camp Buchenwald. After the end of the war he returned to his family in Brest (now Belarus). He took this sign as a remembered for his five years job as an OST worker in Germany. After he returned home he was arrested by Russian KGB and was in a prison for 8 years. This item with a few other items (we bought it on eBay) bought from his family in 1998. Very rare historic witness of that awful time of history. For your convenience we will ship your item for a reasonable price. Combined shipping is available. PayPal payment is also available.
