An early Victorian gold split pearl memorial brooch. Of oval outline, the glazed decorative hair panel with split pearls to the surround, with scrollwork mount and personal inscription to the reverse. Length 4.9cms. Weight 23.9gms.
Condition
The condition of this lot is good, with light surface marks to the gold and glass. There are some loose elements within the decorative hair panel. The inscription to the reverse reads 'Mary Anne Garrett from her Affectionate Mother Alice Garrett, 1848'.
