Royal ceremonial gong & tappa
Cast bronze, large gong with rich bronze patina; body of gong has a chameleon relief figure on one side and an earth spider with a double-headed serpent motif on the other; gong handle has pair of janus royal ancestral heads. Wood gong beater covered in royal blue and white indigenous fabric and attached by fabric to neck of gong.
