An Original Vintage pictorial Color Map of the Marked Historical Sites of California 1952 Compiled from the official registrations of the California State Department of Natural Resources, coyright 1952 by The Authomobile Club of Southern California. By Phil Townsend Hanna (1896-1957) and William Webb, Cartography By Lowell Butler, drawings by Gordon Brusstar, color by Harry Diamond. Interesting illustrated map of California, identifying each of the historical landmarks around the state, with inset maps of the area around San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Monterey and Gold Country. The landmarks are identified by wether they are from the Spanish-Mexican Period, Years of the Gold Rush, Agricultural Era or Commercial and Industrial Expansion era. (Advanced Presentaton Copy for Colonel George Ruhlen ink stamped) The 496 idenfication of sites are listed on the verso, drawings by Ken Sawer.
