Notes/Literature: Huguette Marcelle Clark (1906-2011) was an heiress and philanthropist, who became well known again late in life as a recluse, living in a hospital for more than 20 years while her mansions remained empty. She was an accomplished artist and musician, having studied under famous portrait painter Tadeusz Styka, and her paintings were exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery, Washington in 1925

Good/fair, pagoda form shade with minimal wear, squared yellow shade with light wear to velvet piping, pair shades with interior lining tears to both, one in poor condition with exterior silk tears --- *All lots offered in our online only ABC Auctions are packed and moved to a third party storage facility in King of Prussia, PA prior to the sale.
