20th century, each of compressed globular form with broad, flattened rim, and opposing foo dog-head-form loop handles, decorated to the exterior with flowers and ducks on a lake surface, the interior with goldfish amid marine plant-life, the rim with various floral motifs and sprays.

In overall very good condition with no visible losses, cracks or repairs. Planters exhibit some innate imperfections - firing fissures along foo-dog handles, and the handle rings have glaze slips (the parts of the rings inside the mouth of the foo-dog were not glazed, so if you turn the rings, you will see both the white clay ground and brown glaze). The diameter of the bowl opening (not including rim) is 17-5/8".
