Iron tsuba of rounded octagonal form carved in relief and inlaid with gold. Rising sun from the waves and geese in flight on the face and distant mountains on the reverse. Hitsu-ana plugged with shakudo. Signed: Yamashiro kuni ju / Umetada Shigenari.
