Framed oil on board by Mildred Henthorn Hamill (1890-1970, Washington and Anchorage, Alaska). The landscape painting depicts a village church beneath a snow covered mountain in the spring. Signed lower right. Sight measurement 14.5" x 11-3/8". Framed under glass, 17-5/8" x 14-5/8".
Measures 12" x 16". Framed 16.75" x 20-5/8".
BIOGRAPHY NOTE: Mildred Henthorn Hamill was a leader in Anchorage's small art community, until she left Anchorage shortly after the 1964 Alaska earthquake.
PROVENANCE: From the Horace Willard "H.W" Nagley family collection.
