The body of the vase has interior scenes on the neck, center, and high foot. The sides have scholar's items, birds, and butterflies, and flowers. The top rim is gold with pale green tendrils and bright pink lotus blossoms. The bottom of the foot repeats the same patterns. The large reserves are bordered in gold meander patterns.
