Description
8th-9th century AD. A mixed group of bronze strap ends comprising: one Class A Type 5 with niello to the body, scrolled upper edge pierced to accept two rivets, beast-head finial; one Class B Type 3 slender leaf-shaped with beast-head finial; one Class A Type 5 with bulbous eyes, elongated ears; one Class A Type 2 tongue-shaped with niello panel, narrow snake-head finial; one Class A Type 5 with niello and silver wire detailing, three attachment holes.
