VINTAGE - RARE - UNUSED - 1983 TECHNICS SL-D33 TURNTABLE**
This is a once-in-a-lifetime audiophile opportunity. NEVER USED - NEW OLD STOCK.

A direct-drive automatic turntable system in silver and black, featureing die-cast construction. The system has a silver base with 80's modern square silver knobs and a black and silver stylus arm. The Technics SL -D33 had 1980’s technics infared detection for disk size which uses a light beam for location and separate DC motor for arm movement. The turntable has speeds of 33 and 45rpm and has 10% adjustable pitch control. This auction includes an Audio Technica AT-MG6 headshell and 140LC ("Linear Contact") cartridge stylus. Power and audio cables are included, plus this turntable has the unique connector for the Technics remote control system, that cable is also included. Please see extensive photo array, to confirm all the facts and premium nature of this auction. We have spent several hours confirming that everything works... it should, but when something is 35 years old, it's best to verify, as it is New-Old-Stock. The belt that moves the tonearm has been pre-emptively replaced for this auction.. that is the one part that is NOT 35 years old. Noting again: not only does this include a very high-line Audio Technica 140 LC cartridge, it is mounted in a special headshell: the MG6 which is magnesium with a special vibration-damping insert (rare, but one did sell on ebay for $80 on ebay in December.) Included is the MINT unused (original Technics) dust cover as seen in photos.

To summarize: You get a new-old-stock Technics SL-D33 including it original dustcover, with it's remote control cable, special Audio Technica 140LC ("Linear Contact") cartridge and AT-MG6 special headshell. For comparison? A "replacement" dustcover, headshell and cartridge are clearly a market price of $100+$90+$200 = $380 if you review current ebay listings. And you still need a turntable to put those on! And this is the only new-old-stock SL-D33 we have ever seen - all others listings are USED (a used one is listed on ebay right now for $484 with shipping, previous listings were at $500.)
