In an architectural manner is this smoking accessory for the desktop. The right side held a matchbox and so it has an opening to the right where one would stake the match. The thin compartment on the left is where a few cigarettes went. The carved base is heart shaped and above it is foliage and what looks like a chrysanthemum or maybe a sunflower. No maker markings. Likely Japanese. Measures 4 3/4" x 7/8" 2 5/8" h.

There is a very small chip to the upper left front corner.
