Plates generally show living mammals, but also include several fossils. 8vo. Vol I: xvi, [2], 17-362pp. Vol II: 331pp. Vol III: 264pp. From the Library of Thomas Barbour, director of the Museum of Comparative Zoology at Harvard University from 1927-1946. Half leather and marbled board. Amos Binney’s bookplate on 2 front pastedowns with stamped date “1891.” BP removed from Vol III. Joints split, interiors very good.
