Item Details

Description

An Adams & Westlake "Adams" model bellbottom lantern with twist-off bell. The lid has GRAND TRUNK RY stamped in standard A&W lettering. This version has the two pins on the vent area that allow the top spring to float against the globe retaining flat plate. The bell has ice spikes on the bottom and a glass fount indicating New England area use. The globe is a very nice #39 size with extended base and fine GTR cast lettering with no panel. There is a manufacturing vertical line to the right of the GTR lettering. 2nd globe pic shows this. It is NOT a crack. There are a few rot holes in the bell. It still displays well. The ice spikes are a plus.
