Fine Qing Dynasty Chinese porcelain plate. Finely potted with broad wide cavetto elevated the shallow rounded sides, raised on slightly concave footed base. The interior decorated in hand painting of enormous five-claw blue dragon soaring between flame clouds chasing a flaming pearl. The rim is trimmed in fine circle line. The exterior rim has two dragons striding amidst flames. Fired with a blue underglazed paintings over clean white underglazed ground.
Mark on the base, six underglazed blue script characters, DaoGuang Reign Period of Great Qing.
