Circa 1940. An examined wooden houlette and deck of cards are shown. Three cards are selected and returned to the deck, which may be thoroughly shuffled by the audience and placed in the houlette by them. The cards and houlette are then set on a table and the selected cards rise from the deck. After each card rises, the deck may again be shuffled by the audience. A baffler. Clever method.
