Description

The very large primitive shrine idols from Nigeria, West Africa. The two statues are from different tribes in that region, the large black one is likely Chamba peoples, and the weathered smaller example from a related ethnic group. The tallest measures 28 inches tall. Incredibly heavy dense wood and obvious age and weathering.

Condition

Extensive weathering and wear, fair condition.
