Lot 429 at Christie's auction, May 27/28, 1970, "This and the following dress worn by the present owner's grandmother and her sister, Miss Mary Ann Knapp and Miss Sarah Ann Knapp, who were born in 1802 and 1803", bid by Doris Langley Moore.
