Blue velvet cut to two depths in a large-scale floral to blue satin, decorated with fancy gold braid and tiny beads, the band collar and cuff trimmed in cream lace, back waist having beaded and gold cord tassels, copper satin lining. Petersham label "Alice Mason London". B-32, W-24, L-51. Exhibited at the Melbourne Art Festival, "L'Epoque d'Elegance", 1991. (Petersham reduced and covered in satin, obscuring label, two repairs to lining, minor edge wear and seam separations) excellent.
