Description
2-piece red-violet trained gown, semi-boned bodice having crossed front and back panels over hidden back laces, cream tulle inserts to front and back neckline and short, puffed sleeve, the sleeve having a beaded appliqué from the shoulder worked in red violet beads and paste jewels with tassels, an appliqué off-center at front waist, trained skirt with faux wrap front, slightly gathered into a fourth appliqué. Petersham label "C Worth", client number in skirt "66932". B-40, W-24, L 45-60. (Two small splits along seams on bodice, waistband replaced, taffeta hem backing to underskirt is shattered, dress size reduced, some tearing to tulle backing on sleeve appliqués) very good.
