Description
Native American / First Nations, Canada, probably St. Lawrence River region/Eastern Canada, ca. 19th century CE. A fascinating pipe, made of a heavy black clay with tiny white inclusions. An anthropomorphic figure with a broad face with a pig-like nose lies along the widest part of the pipe, arms and legs in high relief above the surface. Size: 2.4" W x 6.45" H (6.1 cm x 16.4 cm); 7.2" H (18.3 cm) on included custom stand.
