Original Oil on Canvas by Robert Watson (1923-2004) titled Ebbtide. This is a very clean yet surreal painting of a man lone walking the beach with the expanding ocean in his sights. The colors are amazing as is his harmonious technique. Watson provided the cover art for Ray Bradbury's The Martian Chronicles, second edition, printed in 1953. This is probably his best known work. The visual image measures 11 1/2" x 15 1/2" while the frame measures 20" x 24".
