Description
An ex-libris (bookplate) designed by Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939) for dr. Scheiber. Accompanied by an invitation card from Zpevacky Spolek. Framed in gilt wood.
Measures: 12 x 15 inches framed

Mucha was admitted in 1898 to the lodge "Les inseparables du Progres" in Orient Paris. Visited on his return to Prague the "unpolitical club Harmonia", which belonged to the border box "Hiram to the three stars" in Orient Bratislava (now Bratislava / SK) (Prague border box).
Please note: This is an original period print from a large and prominent Santa Barbara collection, the remainder of which was previously auctioned at Heritage.
