VICTORIAN MOLDED SATIN GLASS PEG LAMP, dark to light pink barrel-form font, diagonal pattern with alternating ribs and scroll bands, period brass collar. Peg with brass sleeve and metal spring tabs. Fitted with a period Argand-style slip burner marked for F. T. Sale and a colorless slip chimney. Fitted in a brass baluster-form candlestick with push-up mechanism and octagonal-form base. Late 19th/early 20th century. 11 7/8" HOA to top of collar, font 4" H to top of collar, 3 3/4" D.
Font undamaged and with scattered specks of paint. Setup undamaged. Candlestick with some wear and scattered light dents.
Provenance: From the Bob and Margie Skromme lifetime collection, Celina, OH.
